As Fall brings the darker, colder days,
We may start to feel more tired or have less energy.
This is all very normal, and I want to suggest a way to best navigate this season.
The Fall invites us to go inward.
To take stock of where we are at.
To be quiet with ourselves and to let go.
This energy is very different from the usual productive hustle-and-grind mentality.
Often, this introspective energy is seen as unnecessary, or as a waste of time.
But I find that it’s only when my energy is full that I can create my best work.
Allowing ourselves to rest is an investment in what we can create in the future.
I invite you to ask yourself these questions:
“Where can I slow down?”
“What do I feel when I’m quiet?”
“Do I have any resistances to rest?”
My invitation is to let yourself experience an internal Fall.
See what needs shedding.
Let go of what no longer serves you.
Allow yourself to rest and see what unfolds.
